Abu Sayed Mohammad Faisal

Mr. Abu Sayed Mohammad Faisal is an accomplished investment banking professional with over 18 years of extensive experience across portfolio management, operations, compliance, and corporate finance. He joined GSP Investments Limited (GSPIL) as General Manager and Chief Operating Officer on April 21, 2024, and is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer (Current Charge).

Prior to GSPIL, Mr. Faisal held key leadership roles at IIDFC Capital Limited from 2010 to 2024, including Head of Portfolio Management and Head of Operations and Compliance. He began his investment banking career at ICB Capital Management Limited in 2006, followed by a role in the portfolio management department at Trust Bank Limited from 2008 to 2010.

Mr. Faisal holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Physics from National University, along with an MBA in Finance from Jagannath University. Throughout his career, he has actively participated in numerous training programs, seminars, and workshops related to investment banking and capital markets.
